KELLY
Archibald KELLY (abt 1761-Apr 1839) was born in
Ireland. His father may have been James KELLY. His
mother may have been an ARCHBOLD. He also may have
had three brothers, Thomas, John,
and Samuel, and a sister.
These siblings are not yet documented.
No marriage record has been located, but published Butler Co., PA, histories
identify Archibald's wife as Margaret DUNSETH (?-1810/1839).
The family appears in Unity Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA in the 1790 census. They
then moved to Butler Co., eventually settling in the Parker Twp. area. Many
members of this family are buried in the Kelly Cemetery there.
