KLEBACK
John Andrew KLEBACK (CHLEBAK/CLEBAK/HLYEBAK) (13
Oct 1855-13 Aug 1910) was born in Raczkocz, Szobrance, Hungary (now Slovakia).
He m. Susanna HRENYO (21 Oct 1862-8 Dec 1915) in
Jeszeno, Szobrance, Hungary 26 Jan 1879. By 1900 the family was living in
Taylor, Lackawanna, PA. Neither immigration nor naturalization information has
been located. John and Susanna had 10 children:
Stillborn Twins while still living in Europe.
John Andrew Kleback Jr. (25 Nov 1880-25 Mar 1953) m. Elizabeth
MANDO about 1908. According to their daughter, the couple eloped. No
marriage record has been found for them in surrounding PA counties or NJ. John
received a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering 16 June 1909 from Pennsylvania
State University. John and Elizabeth are buried in St. Catherine's Cemetery in
Moscow, Lackawanna, PA.
George Michael (8 Feb 1889-14 Mar 1933) m. Mary
Cecelia WARGANIN 22 Jun 1915. They lived in Wyoming, Luzerne, PA.
Susan (15 Jun 1892-12 Jan 1905) died from burns
received in an accident at home. She is buried in Minooka Cemetery in Minooka,
Lackawanna, PA.
Joseph John (5 Apr 1895-29 Jan 1970) m. Catherine
Mary DULAY 25 Apr 1942 in Scranton, Lackawanna, PA. Joseph is buried at
St. John's Slovak Cemetery in Taylor.
Anna (3 Nov 1898-30 Nov 1929) m. George
MANDO 5 Mar 1918 in Taylor, Lackawanna, PA. She and George are buried at
St. Mary's Cemetery in Taylor.
Michael (17 Dec 1899-18 Feb 1968) m. Anna
"Happy" HAPSTACK 11 Aug 1920 in Taylor, Lackawanna, PA. They
are buried in St. George's Cemetery in Taylor.
Stephen Andrew (28 Jul 1903-19 Oct 1962) never
married. He is buried in St. George's Cemetery in Taylor.
Mary (12 Mar 1904-15 Apr 1930) also never married.
She is buried in St. Mary's Greek Catholic Cemetery in Taylor.
