PETERS
Adam PETERS (abt 1782-23 Oct 1856) was born in PA. He m. Abagail ? (?-12 Jan 1866). Some researchers identify Abagail as the daughter of Thomas FLEMING and Rebecca HENDERSON, but that has not been proven. Adam may have had an earlier wife; the birthdates of the children and dates found in some records for Abagail suggest that possibility. In 1850 the family resided in Buffalo Twp., Butler Co., PA. Adam and Abagail are buried at Ekastown United Methodist Cemetery in Butler County.

John F. (14 Mar 1809-23 Aug 1895) m. Christina Jane LEASURE abt 1835. They are buried at Fisk Chapel in Butler Co.
Abagail (abt 1813-?) m. Abraham MISNER.
Ann (1817/1820-23 Jul 1896) m. Henry BRUNER. She is buried in Forks Church Cemetery in Armstrong Co., PA.
Thomas (abt 1822-17 Dec 1862) m. Margaret BLACK. He served in Capt. Hays Co. D 137th Reg. Pa Vols. during the Civil War.
Rebecca (?-?) m. ? REYNOLDS
Mary (abt 1825-?) m. John BLACK
Margaret (15 Apr 1812-13 Oct 1906) m. James HANLIN (?-27 Feb 1881) in Butler Co., PA, 14 Nov 1830. Margaret died and was buried in Conway, Taylor, IA.
