TUSCANO

Tommasso TOSCANI (?-?) and his wife Angela DISILVIO resided in Italy, probably in Chieti. I located these facts through the birth record of their son:

Panfilo (7 Sep 1873-1 Jan 1948) m. Angelamaria MONACHETTI 2 Mar 1896 in Scerni, Chieti, Italy. Panfilo immigrated to the U.S. 1 Nov 1903. The family settled in Pottstown, Montgomery, PA. Panfilo and Angelamaria are buried at St. Aloysius Old Cemetery in Pottstown.

Tommasso m. 2nd Concetta DICAMPOLI (?-?), and had one known son:

Dominic (22 Jul 1894-13 Dec 1960) m. Lidia TASCIONE (5 Mar 1898-28 Feb 1974). Dominic immigrated in 1911. He and Lidia are also buried in St. Aloysius Old Cemetery in Pottstown.

Panfilo and Domenic used the spelling TOSCANO for his surname. Later generations adopted TUSCANO as their spelling of choice. They may very well be other descendants of Tommasso and his wives in the U.S. and Italy.
